The Just Shall Live by Faith
It would be impossible to define American life in one sentence. By the same token, no single sentence or verse can offer a comprehensive definition of what the Christian faith is. In fact, it would require a book the size of the Bible to define it. In short, faith is the connection God has with His people. There are several aspects to it that Scripture reveals.
Soldiers of the Cross
Jesus understood that a great spiritual war was on the horizon of the First Century. He left Galilee for the last time and headed for Jerusalem. It would prove to be His final recruitment drive when suddenly He was confronted with an opportunity to interview a potential soldier. Very strong message about what it means to be a follower of Christ.
The Nicolaitan Conspiracy
By the time Jesus gave a direct word to the “Seven Churches of Revelation,” a terrible antinomian movement had swept through the Early Church. It’s message: You don’t have to obey God. By manipulating Scripture, these Nicolaitan teachers had created an atmosphere of rebellion. Satan has resurrected this lie and it is coming into the End Times Church through some surprising venues.
An Eternal House of Wisdom
The Bible clearly teaches that every man is building a house for eternity. But when one is at death’s door, what kind of house will his life show that he has built? Building a house of wisdom means living one’s life with an eye on eternity.
The great danger modern day Christians face is deception. In spite of the fact that the Bible clearly warns End Times believers about this danger, most people are sound asleep spiritually.
Crying Out for the Holy Spirit
Steve Gallagher’s 60th birthday: Jesus gave specific directions about how to receive a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit: ask, seek & knock. Asking represents a position of dependance on God. Seeking represents the passionate desire to know Him. Knocking represents the desire to dwell in intimate fellowship with God. The Holy Spirit fell on this service as the congregation sought Him.
The Great Divider-Sermon Index Conference 2012
The Church has a mixture of wheat and tares. Although they may be indiscernible to man’s eye, God sees very clearly who are His. There is no middle ground and it is the Cross that determines who are the true saints and who are the false.
Cowards & Conquerors in the End Times Church
How will we face persecution when it comes? The way we are living our lives right now is a prediction of the way we will react when things go bad.
Steve Gallagher challenging the congregation at World Harvest Church in Memphis to embrace repentance as a lifestyle.
